Paper Circuits at Spark! Imagination and Science Museum
Light up your art with paper circuits! Join us at Spark! Imagination and Science Center on April 29, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for a hands-on STEAM workshop. Participants will create an image that incorporates a working circuit, copper tape, and LED lights.
Children will have the opportunity to explore the science of circuitry while creating a piece of art. The paper circuit program is part of Spark’s Makers Programs. In Makers Programs, participants learn science and engineering skills while creating art. In learning by creating, the learned information is more easily absorbed and understood. It is also just plain fun!
The cost of the paper circuit program is $10 per child. The program fee includes all design and craft materials and instructions, as well as admission to the museum following the program. The child’s caregiver must be in the museum during the program. Space is limited and participants should preregister by . Prepayment is required and is nonrefundable. To sign up for the program or for more information, email Tiffany Martin at educator@sparkwv.org, visit the museum, or call 304-292-4646.
This program is presented with support from the Governor’s STEM initiative and the West Virginia Department of Education and the Arts.
