Science Saturday: Exploring Engineering

Join us for Science Saturday at Spark! Imagination and Science Center.  Children 5 years old and up and their grown-ups can explore additional hands-on activities in the Science Saturday area on March 4 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. During Science Saturday, participants can engage in a variety of interactive activities to inspire visitors to discover physics, engineering, math, and creative thinking.

“Science Saturdays gives visitors a chance to explore science through play,” states Education Coordinator, Tiffany Martin. “By engaging in hands-on activities, they are able to experiment and make their own discoveries and connections.“

Participation in Science Saturday is included with general admission. General admission is $5 per person, children under 12 months visit for free. No reservation is required, just drop by to explore. Support for the hands-on Science Saturday area was provided in part by the Women’s Giving Circle of North Central West Virginia and LEGO Children’s Fund.
