Harry Potter Adult Makers Program

A magical time awaits you at Spark! Imagination and Science Center. Spark is hosting an adults only Harry Potter Makers Program on February 18 from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Inspired by the magical world of Harry Potter, participants will create their own LED light-up wand, a Monster Book of Monsters box, and a Howler greeting card. No previous experience is necessary. The event has been rescheduled from Feb. 4. 

“The makers program is a fun hands-on way to capture some of the magic found in the world of Harry Potter,” states Spark! Education Coordinator, Tiffany Martin. “Not only will participants get to create fun crafts, but they’ll create circuits and explore electronics.”

The cost of the program is $20 and includes all materials. Prepayment is required and is nonrefundable.  Space is limited and participants must preregister by February 16. The Harry Potter program was funded through a grant made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.

Spark! Imagination and Science Center is located in the Mountaineer Mall at 5000 Greenbag Road.  Regular admission is $5 per person. Memberships are available.
