Bird Day
Looking for something to do while the kids are home from school? It is all about birds on March 29, 2024 at Spark! Imagination and Science Center from 10 am to 1 pm.
Visitors can go on a bird egg hunt, looking for pretend bird eggs in the museum while learning about different types of birds, do a bird craft and and see real birds from the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia.
“We are excited to have another annual Bird Day at Spark! It is a different take on an Easter egg hunt and we are always happy when the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia brings their birds”, says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark.
Visitors can also explore Spark’s hands-on exhibits. Visitors can dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience, play dress up, and much more.
Spark! Imagination and Science Center is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and located inside the Mountaineer Mall at 5000 Greenbag Road. Spark is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization. Admission is $5 per person, children under 12 months old are free.
