Space Day

Come to Spark! Imagination and Science Center’s Annual Space Day Event on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mountaineer Mall.

Children and adults can enjoy space related hands-on science activities and crafts. Participants will explore the formation of stars, magnetic fields, and much more.  

“Space Day is an amazing opportunity for children and adults to experience hands-on demonstrations and activities about outer space,” says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark! Imagination and Science Center.

Tickets for Space Day are $5 per person, free for children under 12 months and free for Spark members. Admission includes all activities and admission to the museum. In the museum, visitors can explore two space based, hands-on exhibits, Space Weather and Sun, Earth Universe along with Sparks other exhibits that explore science and the imagination.

Children must be accompanied by adults. Masks are required for anyone ages 48 months and up, including adults. There are no exceptions. Spark has a limited number of masks to give out, please bring your own mask.
