West Virginia Flooding: How You Can Help

West Virginia Flooding: How You Can Help

Visit the museum June 25 through July 2, 2016 and all general admission will be donated to  West Virginia Flooding Victims

As many of you know, our friends in other parts of the state are dealing with the aftermath of major flooding. West Virginian’s are resilient and there is no doubt that people will pull together and rebuild. But there is also no doubt that rebuilding will take money.

Upon learning of the devastation that was taking place, my thoughts, like many of you, turned to “how can I help?” With the support of the Board of Directors, it was decided that Spark! Imagination and Science Center will donate all general admission funds received June 25 through July 2, 2016 to help West Virginia flood victims.

Knowing how West Virginian’s care for each other, I know that many of you have donated money or items, and some of you have even traveled to the effected parts of the state to volunteer. I am hoping that you visit Spark! this week and spread the word to your friends and family that family time at the museum can do so much to help others in need right now.
