Hands-On Science Area

Our Hands-On Science Area for children 5-12 years old and their grown-ups will be open. Visitors will explore physics, engineering, math and logic through interactive activities. (Children under 5 will not be allowed in the Hands-On Science Area, but can enjoy our Eureka! Science Center, the museum’s permanent science exhibit.) General admission applies.

Talk Like a Pirate Day Craft

Building with Biology

Building with Biology is a new event that uses hands-on activities to explore the cutting-edge science of synthetic biology. Ticket price includes admission to the museum and participation in all science table activities. Children who visit all the tables will receive a prize. General admission applies.

Science Day
November 12 from 10 am to 1 pm
Children and adults will get excited about science at our annual Science Day event. Children will participate in fun and interactive activities on forensics, chemistry, physics, astronomy, nano-science and much more. Tickets are $6 per child, $2 per adult for non-members ($5 per child, free for adults for members). Ticket price includes admission to the museum and participation in all science table activities. Children who visit all the tables will receive a prize.
