Bird at Spark for science day

Looking for something to do while the kids are home from school? It is all about birds on April 14 at Spark! Imagination and Science Center from 10 am to 1 pm.

Visitors can go on a bird egg hunt, looking for pretend bird eggs in the museum while learning about different types of birds, do a bird craft and and see real birds from the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia. Admission is $6 per child, $2 per adult for non-members and free for members.

“We are excited to have our first bird day at Spark! It is a different take on an Easter egg hunt and we are always happy when the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia brings their birds”, says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark.

Visitors can also explore Spark’s hands-on exhibits. Visitors can dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience, play dress up, and much more. Visitor’s can also explore Spark’s newest exhibit, the Imagination Playground.
